Competing at the Next Level
I am extremely proud to have been able to represent my club and the SPSF, sailing against some of the best sailors in our nation in California. The regatta was very well run and with the help of our coach and our team, I feel that I gained a lot from the experience in such a competitive fleet. I finished 2nd overall in the ILCA 4 fleet and I’m already looking forward to using what I learned in future events. Thanks again for your support.

Gaining Experience, Thanks to SPSF
I am proud to have been able to represent my club, community, and the SPSF at this event. Sailing against some of the best ILCA 4 sailors in California was an amazing experience in all the conditions we saw, from light to “survival” conditions. The regatta was very well run and with the help of our coach, Todd Fedyszyn, I feel like I was able to gain a lot from the experience. I finished 27th overall in the ILCA 4 fleet and I’m already looking forward to using what I have learned in the future.

Unforgettable Summer of Sailing
Thank you to the St. Petersburg Sailing Foundation for all your support this summer. I had the incredible opportunity to compete in California, win the Pacific Coast Championships in Lake Tahoe, and qualify for gold fleet at ILCA 4.7 Worlds. One of my favorite memories was training in Tahoe with the SPYC team—we even saw a couple of bears (including one near Todd’s boat!) and had snow in June. It was an unforgettable summer full of racing and memories, and I’m so grateful for your support. Thank you again!

Pushing My Sailing Further
Thank you to the SPSF for helping fund my regattas at Opti New Englands in New Bedford and Opti Nationals in Los Angeles. I had some strong finishes, learned a lot from the tougher races, and really enjoyed reconnecting with friends from other clubs while experiencing the Pacific waves and Buzzards Bay breeze.
